1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how subscriptions to the Angat platform can be cancelled, and the circumstances under which refunds may be issued. This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

The Service is operated by Easycom Japan Philippines Inc., with principal office at Unit 3B Basic Petroleum Bldg., 104 C. Palanca St., Legaspi Village, Makati City, Philippines.

2. Cancellation of Subscription

2.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time by:

  • Sending a written cancellation request to support@angat.com.ph from the email address registered to your account; or
  • Submitting a cancellation request through your account's billing settings (where available).

2.2 Effect of Cancellation

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access to the Service until the end of the period for which you have already paid. We do not charge additional fees for cancellation itself.

For example, if you are on a monthly plan and cancel on the 10th day of the billing cycle, your access will continue until the last day of that cycle. No charge will be made for the following cycle.

2.3 Cancellation Notice Period

To avoid being billed for the next cycle, cancellation requests must be received at least three (3) business days before the renewal date. Requests received after this period will take effect at the end of the following billing cycle.

3. Refund Eligibility

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, as the Service is provided continuously throughout the billing period. However, refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:

3.1 First-Time Subscription (14-Day Money-Back Guarantee)

If you are a first-time paying customer and you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a full refund of your first month's subscription fee within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date the first charge was processed. This guarantee applies only once per customer organization and excludes one-time setup, onboarding, and data migration fees.

3.2 Service-Level Failures

If the Service is unavailable for more than twenty-four (24) consecutive hours in a calendar month due to our fault (excluding scheduled maintenance and events outside our reasonable control), you may request a pro-rated refund or service credit for the affected period.

3.3 Duplicate or Erroneous Charges

If you are charged in error (for example, a duplicate transaction or a charge after cancellation took effect), you are entitled to a full refund of the erroneous amount.

3.4 Annual Plans

For annual subscriptions, cancellation within the first thirty (30) days of the annual term entitles you to a pro-rated refund of the unused portion of the annual fee, less any monthly-equivalent value of the days the Service was active. After the first 30 days, annual plans are non-refundable but cancellation prevents automatic renewal.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following fees are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • One-time setup and configuration fees;
  • Data migration and onboarding fees, once migration has commenced;
  • Custom development, integration, or professional services that have been delivered;
  • Training sessions that have already been conducted;
  • Third-party fees passed through (for example, SMS delivery charges, payment processing fees on refunded transactions);
  • Subscription fees paid more than 14 days ago, except as expressly provided in this Policy.

5. Refund Process

5.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to billing@angat.com.ph with:

  • Your registered organization name and account email;
  • The transaction date and amount;
  • The reason for your refund request;
  • Any supporting documentation (for example, screenshots of an error).

5.2 Review Period

We will review your refund request and respond within five (5) business days. If additional information is needed, we will contact you. Approved refunds are processed within ten (10) business days of approval.

5.3 Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the transaction:

  • Credit / debit card payments: refunded to the same card. Allow 5–15 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your issuing bank.
  • E-wallet payments (GCash, Maya, GrabPay): refunded to the same e-wallet account. Typically appears within 3–7 business days.
  • Bank transfer payments: refunded to the originating bank account. Allow 3–7 business days.

We are unable to refund to a different payment method or recipient than the original payer.

5.4 Currency

All refunds are issued in Philippine Peso (₱), in the same amount as the original charge. We are not responsible for any difference in value resulting from currency conversion or foreign-exchange fees imposed by your issuing bank.

6. Disputed Charges and Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, we strongly encourage you to contact us first at billing@angat.com.ph. We will work in good faith to resolve any billing dispute promptly.

Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in immediate suspension of your account pending resolution of the dispute. Repeated or fraudulent chargebacks may result in termination of your account and referral to debt collection.

7. Service Suspension or Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, or for non-payment of undisputed amounts. In such cases:

  • If termination is due to your material breach, no refund will be issued for the remaining portion of the billing cycle;
  • If we terminate the Service for our own convenience or discontinue a product line, you will receive a pro-rated refund of any pre-paid fees for the unused portion of your subscription.

8. Data Export Upon Cancellation

Following cancellation or termination of your subscription, your Customer Data will remain available for export for a period of thirty (30) days. You can request an export through your account or by contacting support@angat.com.ph. After 30 days, Customer Data may be permanently deleted from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email and posted on this page at least thirty (30) days before taking effect. Refund requests are evaluated under the version of this Policy in effect at the time of the original transaction.
